Elaine Penta Rampone

Elaine RamponeElaine Penta Rampone has been the owner and Chief Executive Manager of RAMP Enterprises, LLC since 1996. Elaine has over 25 years experience in project engineering and quality assurance management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor concentration in Biology, from Northeastern University (1989) and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven (1992).

Prior to RAMP, Elaine worked for General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division and a series of small family-owned businesses, with positions in Project and Design Engineering, Quality Procurement Engineering, and Quality Management. Elaine was an Excel Partnership consultant for several years, in various capacities as a documentation specialist, training documentation formulation, consulting, training, and some consulting sales.

Elaine has been accredited with the QSARAB as a certified associate auditor for over a decade (Q06691) and holds a Senior Member Status with the American Society of Quality. Elaine has successfully completed the Sanctioned Aerospace Auditor Training for AS 9100 Revision C. Elaine has been an accredited Certified Quality Auditor through the ASQ and is a partnered consultant with CONNStep, Naugatuck Valley Community College, Orchid Orthopedic, and Solutions Associates. RAMP has a 99% success rate with bringing clients through successful registration and permanent continued success.

John Rosen

John Rosen John Rosen has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a second master's degree in Management Engineering. He holds American Society for Quality certifications as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and Quality Auditor. He was registered as a Professional Mechanical Engineer by the State of Connecticut. He was certified in Lean Enterprise Tools by Central Connecticut State University. He is also a FAA licensed commercial pilot.

John has 16 years experience in certification of Quality Management Systems. Since taking early retirement form Sikorsky Aircraft, where he lead the ISO 9001 registration effort, John has had an active consulting practice under the corporate name of Solution Associates - LLC. His current consulting involves ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Federal Aviation Administration Certifications under Parts 21 and 145 of the governing regulations. He has a particular interest in helping smaller businesses achieve and maintain certification/registration. He may be contacted at solution@charter.net.

Jodi Sutherland

Jodi Sutherland Jodi Sutherland is a respected leader, manager and accomplished quality management professional with 15 years experience and success in leading small to medium design prototype and manufacturing organizations ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, IEC, CE and FAA compliance and certifications.

Jodi has been a certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence through ASQ, an ASQ member for over 10 years and served on the leadership committee of ASQ-Vermont. She has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from University of Massachusetts (1992) and a Masters of Science in Quality Systems Management from Anna Maria College (1998).

The majority of Jodi's career has been supporting the renewable energy and aerospace industries. She has been an IEC working group project leader and a past Vice Chairman of ASTM E-44, where both leadership roles facilitated worldwide testing standards in the photovoltaic (solar) energy industry.

Charles Vassallo

Charles Vassallo Accomplished manager/director with over 26 years of experience in full lifecycle medical device product development, from concept to commercialization; diverse background encompasses all areas of biomedical, electrical, mechanical, packaging and quality engineering.

BS Degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and a US Navy Vietnam veteran. Possesses proven abilities in managing teams of engineers to meet milestones and scheduled task dates. Strong experience in quality and regulatory requirements regarding, FDA QSR, ISO 13845 and CE Mark as well as domestic and other foreign country standards concerning product registration and testing

Frank Garofalo

Frank Garofalo Frank Garofalo is a user experience (UX) and interactive strategy consultant with Garofalo Studios, who has worked in the web and interactive industry since 1999. Frank has a Masters of Science degree from Purdue University in Computer Graphics Technology, for conducting an ethnographic (usability) research study for multi-user collaboration multi-touch devices. He specializes in brainstorm facilitation, Agile Transformation, User Experience Design & Research, Usability Assessments, and Management Consulting. For agile methodologies, he is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner.

Over the years, he has had employment experience with various companies, such as Esri, The Walt Disney Company, Bank of America, Cyber View, and Garmin. Through his employment background, Frank has been involved with design and user experience efforts on projects for Fortune 100 companies, US Federal agencies, and with budgets of over $12 million. Frank managed a 35+ person department of User Experience Architects, User Interface Designers, Icon Designers, and Usability Research experts, at a billion-dollar software company. Now, in addition to maintaining the website for RAMP Enterprises, he manages the RAMP Enterprises Corrective Action System as well as ResLife Portal, a web-based residential life management system for colleges and universities
